The Colebrook Land Conservancy hosts various educational and recreational activities during the year. Please see the "News" page for upcoming events. Also, please stop by our booth at the Labor Day Fair each year - there's always something for the kids and you can catch up on our latest projects.
Please consider joining and/or making a contribution to the Colebrook Land Conservancy. New members are welcome and appreciated! Your tax-deductible dues and contributions enable our non-profit Conservancy to:
- Continue our educational programs
- Meet the cost of new land preservation projects
- Cover expenses related to the stewardship of the 1,054 acres that we protect by easement and ownership, including the historic Hale Barn and surrounding land, the Phelps Research Area, our Colebrook Road Preserve, and the "Corliss 100" acres between Beech Hill and Sandy Brook Roads.
During the past year, with your support, we also sponsored ecological and historic walks and talks, conducted a survey of notable Colebrook trees, and maintained our public walking trails on the Hale Farm property.
Annual dues are $25 for families, $20 for individuals and $10 for seniors. Please make checks payable to: Colebrook Land Conservancy. You may also wish to donate to our ongoing efforts. Our mailing address is:
